PLATINUM RESISTANCE THERMOMETERS 0 °C = 100 ohms
	Can be fitted to Local or Distance Reading Thermometers that we manufacture.
	PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS 4.20 mA. OUTPUT
	Can be fitted to all Pressure and Vacuum Gauges that we manufacture including those fitted with diaphragm seals. Customer to choose which transmitter is used.
	ELECTRICAL CONTACT UNITS
	They are available in 100mm and 160mm sizes. Can also be fitted to either Temperature or Pressure indicators that we manufacture and show in this catalogue. Standard units are available with single or double contacts.  These units can be provided with or without magnetic assistance.  For operating conditions where vibration is likely, the contact pin holder can be fitted with an adjustable magnet which attracts the contact arm just before the present level is reached.  This avoids arcing and burning of the contact pin.  The differential between make and break is necessarily increased when a magnet is used, however the difference in the operation to the setting is corrected by the adjusting screw on top of the magnets during calibration.
	SWITCH RATINGS
	These contact units are suitable for dc or ac currents upto 380 V and switching rating up to 30 VA. Relays are available for increasing the rating to 5 A dc or 8 A ac (details available on request).
	CONTACT MATERIALS
	Contact units are supplied as standard fitted with Silfram W. 30 which is silver alloy with a content of 30% tungsten.  It has an extremely high resistance to burning. Silver or gold contacts are available to special order.
	OPTIONS
	Liquid filled heads to help counteract vibration. Combinations of Triple or quadruple Contacts as required.
